Jason Roberts Leaves Astral Virgin Radio in Edmonton for Rawlco’s Up! 99.3

AT CFMG Edmonton (formerly EZ Rock now 104.9 Virgin Radio) morning co-hosts Seanna Collins and Ron Clark, mid-day host Kerry Campbell and afternoon drive host Jason Roberts have all left the station. Jason Roberts is now the morning show host at Rawlco’s Up! 99.3 FM (formerly Magic 99) replacing Jamie O’Connell and Dan Hunt. Speculations are that Rawlco hopes Roberts will draw former EZ Rock listeners who tended to be women and prefer the softer Up! sound. Replacing the Virgin Radio hosts are Pepper and Dylan, recently from Edmonton’s The Bounce and Calgary’s CJAY before that.
