Alberta Magazine – LawNow: Relating Law to Life in Canada

The magazine, now in its 40th year, provides unique insights into changing social conditions by examining and reflecting on contemporary issues from the perspective of the law. Each issue focuses on a particular theme supported by features articles on the topic and regular columns on contemporary issues that include: Family Law, Law & Literature, Employment Law, Human Rights, Online Law, Criminal Law, Aboriginal Law, Landlord & Tenant, Not-for-Profit Law and Famous Cases. The editorial team includes Canadian lawyers, education specialists, writers, librarians, and legal editors.

City Magazines Published in Alberta

magazinesThere are thirteen city magazines published in Alberta, including three in Calgary (Avenue Calgary, Where Calgary and the Calgary Herald‘s weekly Swerve Magazine) and three in Edmonton (Avenue Edmonton, Where Edmonton and Vue Weekly Magazine).
