Prior to joining Anaïd, Claire was the senior meteorologist at CBC News Network working along side The National’s chief correspondent Peter Mansbridge and other newscasters, enlightening the country with her wealth of knowledge about the weather.

Her path to the show is a windy one.Once she was awarded her Masters in Journalism from Western Ontario, she journeyed to Thunder Bay in 1991 and lived with her sister. She kept life and limb together teaching and working retail part time. When an opening was advertised at CBC Television, she showed up in reception for five days straight and sat there until the producer agreed to see her.

His luck started right out of university when his sociology degree couldn’t attract a job. Jim then enrolled in the Public Relations Diploma program at Mount Royal College. Several courses in journalism that first year and a savvy instructor identified Jim’s passion and talent for writing. In 1986 he landed his first job with Panorama Industrial Communications – a one-man PR and communications firm.
