LitFest: Canada’s Only NonFiction Literary Festival Runs from October 13 – 23, 2016

Lit FestivalThe 11-day festival connects nonfiction fans with the authors and writers that are guiding conversations that matter to Canadians, from climate change to politics, social issues, and  ever-changing trends in cuisine. Canadian Association of Journalists Converge on Edmonton for their Annual Conference on May 28 to 29, 2016

CAJ AwardsCBC Edmonton’s Mark Connolly will be the MC at the Canadian Association of Journalists’ conference banquet and 2015 CAJ Awards gala to be held in Edmonton on from May 28 to 29, 2016. The banquet and gala are scheduled for a 7 p.m. start on May 28, the wrap-up to #CAJ16 being held at the Coast Edmonton Plaza Hotel. The gala caps off two days of workshops and panel discussions focused on navigating the shifting landscape of journalism in Canada and around the world.

WAB AwardsThe Conference kicks off with the annual WAB Golf Classic June 8 at the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course. This year’s Classic promises to be a great day, rain or shine. The Conference program commences June 9 with an exciting line-up of speakers.
