St Albert Gazette Now Has the St Albert Newspaper Market to Itself
Founded in 1961, in the centennial year of Alberta’s oldest permanent settlement, The St Albert Gazette is a newspaper published twice weekly that has chronicled the lives of residents and events for St. Albert and the Sturgeon area for 50 years. From their beginnings as an eight-page 8 1/2″ x 11″ community newsletter to today’s twice-weekly, full-color tabloid, they focus on providing readers with award-winning journalism in every issue. Their advertising, creative and news teams have collected more than 200 industry honours in the past 20 years. The Canadian Community Newspapers’ Association has named them the best newspaper in the country in 2000, 2001, 2005 and 2008. Read more
