CTV Wakes Up Marketing Efforts for CTV MORNING LIVE
Toronto, ON (November 9, 2011) – CTV revealed details today of a comprehensive marketing campaign to generate awareness for its newly launched local morning programs, CTV MORNING LIVE. The creative copy and messaging centers on the tag line “It’s everything you need,” enforcing CTV MORNING LIVE’s mission to provide viewers with the key information they need to start their busy day: local news, weather and traffic in a friendly and fast-paced format. CTV Winnipeg was the first of six local CTV stations to launch its morning show in early October, followed by CTV stations in Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, and Edmonton. CTV Edmonton Bestows Citizen of the Year Awards on Two Edmontonians
In its inaugural year, the judging committee for the 2011 CTV Citizen Of The Year Award has chosen two recipients: Mr. Issa Kamara: Founder/Executive Director of the Sinkunia Community Development Organization (SCDO) and Mr. Amson Saintime: Co-Founder/Executive Director of the ArbreDeVie Fine-Arts World Fellowship. The CTV Citizen Of The Year Award was created by CTV Edmonton in partnership with the Edmonton Heritage Festival Association to recognize those who have contributed to the promotion, awareness, understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity. Bell Completes Acquisition of CTV and Launches Bell Media

The launch of a dedicated three-minute local newscast produced specifically for mobile smartphones is a first for a regional outlet such as CTV BC.
