    Hi,

I am a 16 year old girl living in Alberta. I want to be a writer when i grow up. So far i have already published my articles in 2 different magazines. I was wondering if you know of any magazines/newspapers in Alberta/ the country that would be willing to publish some of my work?

When i grow up i want to travel the world while working along the way!

I would be much appreciated if you could give me some advice for my future goals and some places that would be willing to accept my work.

    Thank you!

You might check out the magazines listed on the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association website. Many of the magazines published in Alberta are included there. As to which magazines might publish your work, it’s a question of the topic of your writing and then whether or not the magazines that publish on this topic accept submissions. My suggestion is to check out the magazines that interest you and then contact them. Often whether or not a magazine accepts submissions is mentioned on their website and often they include editorial guidelines to follow. Good luck!

Varda, you might want to check out the Alberta Magazine Publisher Association’s website. There they list most of the magazines published in Alberta. Find a couple of magazines that publish content of interest to you and do to their website. They often post whether or not they are accepting submissions and writing guidelines for their publication. Best of luck in your journey!
