Alberta Blog of Interest: Young and Free Alberta
Young & Free Alberta is powered by Servus Credit Union and is “an ongoing effort to give the 17 to 25 crowd a voice, a head start and useful information.” According to their website, Servus launched Young & Free in 2010 because they felt strongly that young people were not being well served by other financial institutions and didn’t have a voice when it came to getting what they needed from a financial institution. So they launched a search for a Spokester (spokesperson) and gave that person a platform: the Young & Free Alberta website. The ultimate goal of Young & Free Alberta is to help Servus Credit Union connect with young people and to help them understand how they can serve Alberta’s 17 to 25 crowd better than any other financial institution.
