CKOS RadioSince June 2007,  91.1 The Bridge (formerly branded KAOS 91.1 until March 12, 2017) has been promoting the values which have been foundational in building a strong Wood Buffalo Region through their vision of “Exposing Hope through Music Talk and Action”. They are a values-oriented community Christian Radio Station owned by a registered Canadian charity [Kings Kids Promotions Outreach Ministries Inc.], and operated by people who live in the community.

During the day, the station caters to a 25-54 audience with its variety of Hot Adult Contemporary [AC] and Contemporary Hit Radio [CHR]. Research indicates that their typical listener is approximately 34 year old Christian female.

91.1 The Bridge is a fun, relevant radio station aiming to encourage listeners through professional and entertaining announcers that can clearly identify and communicate with the station’s listeners.

91.1 The Bridge is full of “social enterprise” through our Bridge community initiatives which include partnerships with the education, business, social profit sector, public health and religious sectors. Located in Fort McMurray Composite High School, the station is involved in supporting local talent and Media Literacy designed to increase student awareness of media impact, and so much more. Some successes have been the KAOS KAFÉ at InterPlay and the KAOS REPO CO–a street team which hit the streets of Fort McMurray during the summer of 2008

91.1 The Bridge prides itself on being the only station which offers a “family friendly guarantee,” They have a strong appeal to a more mature audience and individuals who are established in our community because of their talk programs such as Focus on the Family. They serve adult listeners as well as the younger demographic.
