Jeben Berg, Chief Marketing Officer, Zealot Networks

Jeben-BergJeben Berg is the Chief Marketing Officer at Zealot Networks where he leads the company’s overall marketing, digital content development and creative storytelling. Before joining Zealot, Jeben played an integral role in the emergence and success of YouTube and Google. Most recently, he was a Creative Director at Google where he helped found Googles BrandLab and worked with leading advertising agencies and brands to hone their ideas, strategies and implementations in the digital space. Jeben’s time at the media giant spans back to 2006 where he helped make YouTube the premier platform for advertisers to socialize with their consumers. His accolades include 2 Webbies, as well as being a key contributor to several digital campaigns that went on to Cannes Gold Lions. Jeben’s early experience comes from roles as both creative and strategist at well-known advertising agencies and digital companies such as Publicis, FCB, DraftFCB, Mekanism and Maker Studios. Beyond the scope of digital, Jeben contributes editorially to publications, produces videos for artists and musicians, and paints large-scale murals and street art. Jeben holds a BA in Broadcast Electronic Communications Arts from SFSU. He is a Montana native son and credits the Big Sky heritage with keeping his eyes open to the bigger picture. Jeben currently lives in Venice with his wife.

Rashida Jeeva, Head of Content, AOL Canada & General Manager, Huffington Post Canada

Rashida-JeevaAs Head of Content of AOL Canada, and General Manager of Huffington Post Canada; Rashida Jeeva is responsible for the content direction of some of Canada’s largest media brands. A native South African with a journalism background, she immigrated to Canada more than two decades ago and has held executive level editorial and business positions at media companies including Yahoo! and the Globe and Mail. Pivoting her focus from print to online 15 years ago, and has launched several sites including the Huffington Post in Canada 4 1/2 years ago; and more recently, a state-of-the-art video studio for Editorial & Branded Content initiatives. In 2015, HuffPost Canada produced 7 in-house and partnership-based Originals video series. 2016 is shaping up to be even bigger as HuffPost embraces the world of distributed content beyond its site.
