Postmedia NetworkPostmedia Network closed the $316 million deal for 173 Sun Media publications from Quebecor, creating the largest newspaper organization in Canada. The now own all Sun Media’s properties in Alberta including Calgary SunEdmonton Sun, Fort McMurray Today, Grande Prairie Herald Tribune along with 33 weekly newspapers and publish all the daily newspapers in Alberta except for the Red Deer Advocate (Black Press), and Lethbridge Herald and Medicine Hat News (both by Alta Newspaper Group).
