CTV News Edmonton today announced the appointment of Danelle Boivin as the new Anchor of CTV NEWS AT 11:30 beginning Monday, September 15. The former CTV News Regina Anchor joins Meteorologist Josh Classen at the helm of the late-night newscast. Returning to Edmonton following four years anchoring CTV Regina’s flagship newscast, Boivin also assumes duties as the station’s newest Breaking News Reporter.

Born and raised in Eaglesham, Alberta, Boivin is a graduate of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Radio and Television Arts Program. Making her return to the “City of Champions,” her first break in the industry was with CTV in Lethbridge, AB in 2007, she later joined CTV Regina in December, 2010.
