The Gateway NewspaperThe Gateway is the official student newspaper at the University of Alberta. It is published most Wednesdays during the academic year (with three issues during the spring/summer term) by the Gateway Student Journalism Society (GSJS), a student-run, autonomous, apolitical not-for-profit organization, operated in accordance with the Societies Act of Alberta.  The Gateway has been published continuously since November 21, 1910 to provide a fair, reliable, and clear source of information, focused mainly, but not exclusively, on issues which directly affect students.
