Cake WalkHost Sheri Somerville returns with CTV Edmonton’s meteorologist Josh Classen for a night of wedded bliss at the eighth annual Cake Walk fundraiser for the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts.  Cake challenge teams compete on stage represented by music celebrities performing wedding hits.

This year the event features country artist Colleen Rae and local performing sensation, Josh Mellot, serenading over the 10 beautiful cakes in competition for first place. The evening is always full of spontaneous fun, laughter and entertainment.

The 8th annual fundraiser for the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts will be held at the Westin on November 4th. Individual tickets are $100 and tables are $800 and come with preferred seating to the stage show, recognition and exclusive food and beverage service benefits. All Tickets include food, drinks and fun. Reception begins at 7PM and show starts at 8:30PM. The evening includes a great live and silent auction with unbelievable Alberta Tourism get-aways.

Proceeds directly support the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts and their “Keep the Love Alive” campaign. The centre provides a supportive place where adults with developmental disabilities can become practicing artists. The centre operates a public gallery and an outreach program that connects artists and audiences.
