Edmonton Film FestivalThe Edmonton International Film Festival received over eight hundred (800) film submissions this year – another 10% increase over 2011 – and sifted through hundreds more solicited and award-winning films from the international festival circuit.   “It is a privilege to announce the top films in these categories” says Kerrie Long, Festival Producer.  “Seriously though, it’s like asking ‘what’s your favorite restaurant?’… every film has its own heart, its unique voice.  So jurying and choosing just one, and sometimes two, films as the top film in any category is certainly challenging!” Here are the jury award winners.
