Vincci Tsui, Food columnist and longest serving blogger at CIA, just ahead of Irene Seto, the managing editor for the past year, is a registered dietitian by day and the food columnist by night and weekends. Vincci shares recipes and reviews on her own blog as well at

Sarah Pynoo, Film columnist, is a Calgary based writer, wanna-be illustrator, and volunteer. Currently she is studying communications at the University of Calgary and Journalism at SAIT. She is the Opinions Editor for the Weal, Chief Live Twitter Operation for Awesome Foundation Calgary, and the Social Media Coordinator for Light Up the World.

Peter Vetsch, Wine columnist, is a local lawyer by day and wine writer by night, pursuing his vinous passion by writing for Calgary food and beverage magazine Culinaire and maintaining his own wine blog at He has earned his formal wine accreditation through the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET), where he recently obtained his Intermediate and Advanced Certificates in Wine and Spirits (both with Distinction),

Nicholas Taylor, Nerd Life columnist, Nick is a blogger, broadcaster who has lived in Calgary for the past 14 years. A self-described nerd, he’s a radio broadcasting grad from SAIT.

Katie Murray, Lifestyle columnist, works in communications, social media and event coordination when she is not volunteering for Calgary and Area United Way and the Calgary chapter of the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or researching, writing or posting her lifestyle articles to CIA.

Jennifer Thompson Goldberg, The Scene columnist, was likely roped into writing for by her daytime work colleague and managing editor Irene Seto. She seems to have found a good fit for her passions.

Angela Tulio, City Sustainability columnist, arrived in Calgary via Winnipeg and then Ottawa where she published a culture blog. During the day she works at an environmental sustainability company in Calgary.

Andrea Grant, Culture columnist, was born in Calgary and has been immersed in the cultural scene in Calgary ever since.

Amy Jo Espetveidt, Arts columnist, photojournalist, writer, gardener, reader and painter, is a graduate of SAIT’s Photojournalism program in 2005.
