NextGen is hosting a special speaking engagement with Peter Kageyama who will be visiting Edmonton on June 21. Peter is a co-founder and producer of the Creative Cities Summit, an interdisciplinary event that brings together practitioners around the big idea of the city. He has traveled abroad learning and speaking about issues of local community development, talent attraction and retention and creative industries development. He’s also worked with contemporaries such as Richard Florida and Charles Landry. He recently wrote a book called “For the Love of Cities” and he will be speaking about this and his insights about creative cities.
