The Utopia Music Festival is Edmonton’s first Summer Solstice Cultural Celebration. Utopia will be taking place at The Heritage Amphitheatre in beautiful Hawrelak Park in Edmonton on Friday, June 17 and Saturday, June 10. The summer solstice celebration in 2011 will feature headlining acts: Ani DiFranco, LIGHTS, David Usher and Suzie Mcneil. There will be many other musical treats to look forward to including an exciting, eclectic blend of music in the genres of folk, reggae, electronic and acoustic pop. There is something for everybody at Utopia who’s focus is unity, diversity and love. The event is open to all ages, but will have a licensed beer garden for those who would like to enjoy a cool beverage during the celebration.
