Here’s a super-hot presentation by two of North America’s best-known names in spoken word: Sheri-D Wilson and Regie Cabico.  Sheri-D – the Mama of Dada – and Regie — the Lady Gaga of Poetry – have more awards and performance credits than  NASA has astronauts, and they’re going to lift you off your feet. Together, they’re launching the brand-new Spoken Word Workbook: inspiration from poets who teach, which will be the go-to resource for spoken word poetry. The book and interactive website lead reader/participants on a creative journey of discovery, with ideas from 28 professional spoken word artists. Contributors include the likes of bill bissett, George Elliott Clarke, Shane Koyczan and Anne Waldman (New York City).
